“Home” is more than just a place to me. It’s always been more than a place. It’s the hub of my life story. It’s where I celebrate successes and heal hurts. It’s where I hang out with my friends and create memories and nurture my kids. It’s a reflection of who I am. So I get it, buying or selling your home is a very big deal. Nail-biting, exhilarating, gut-wrenching and life-changing all at the same time.
For me, as a realtor, there’s nothing more gratifying than helping a client find the right home or make the right sale. It’s why I do what I do. I love the hunt. I love figuring out what clients really want. I love using my interior design background to show them the hidden potential in a fixer-upper or how to better showcase their home to would-be buyers. I love the deal-making, the problem-solving, and seeing clients light up when they hear their offer has been accepted. In a way, I’ve been training for this all my life.
My mother is an award-winning interior designer and my father is a Realtor. I grew up learning about home construction and design styles by tagging along with my mom on home and hotel installations in Denver and nearby mountain resorts. At the University of Colorado in Boulder, I earned my business degree in small business management and marketing. Then I did a few other things before settling on real estate as a career. I traveled and worked in Hawaii, California and Aspen. I started a business that curated and sold the best “green” home products I could find. And for more than 20 years, I operated an interior design firm in Denver, creating homes in Denver, Aspen, Vail, Summit County and Hawaii. I learned how to spot “good bones” and red flags in a home’s layout or construction. And I learned a lot about what makes a house a home.
I grew up in Denver and now my husband and I are our raising our two children here. I know the city’s parks and neighborhoods. I know its business districts and public transportation and traffic patterns. I know the culture and quirks of its many residential areas, how they’ve changed and continue to evolve.
All this life experience has prepared me well. I can help you find the right home or attract the right buyer, understand the process, get through the paperwork, see new possibilities, make the best deal and celebrate your future.
