Tamara Mahoney Kneisel

I am Tamara Mahoney Kneisel and I’d like to thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. I have been a REALTOR® since 2001 but since Preferred Properties is a family business, I have really been helping people buy and sell real estate since I was about 13 years old. I have done every job in the office from receptionist to office manager, assistant and now Broker Associate. I have also worked for a title company and thus have a VERY well rounded appreciation for all the moving "parts" of real estate transactions.

I am proud to say that I have been selected as a Five Star Real Estate Professional for Best in Client Satisfaction. 5280 Magazine sponsored a survey of recent buyers, lenders and title company professionals to get their opinion of the overall satisfaction of their experience when working with me. I was fortunate enough to receive enough positive feedback that I made their list. Those who were selected for this honor are part of the top 7% of all real estate professionals in the Front Range market.

I also received my GREEN® designation in 2009. It is the newest designation by the National Association of REALTORS®. I was one of the first 200 in the country and one of only a few here in Colorado. I base my business practices on helping buyers and sellers identify and make informed decisions about "green" attributes that a home might have or that it could easily be made to have. I also have trees planted for each new client that I work with, I buy carbon offsets for my car and other business necessities, I have gone virtually paperless with online contracts that you can sign from anywhere in the world and I have a vast and ever growing list of resources in the community for everything from handy men and roofers to window repairs and solar power. GREEN® is not only the way I run my business but also the way I live my life. I also know tons about the community around us as I grew up here and I am really looking forward to working with you!
