Belcaro

Belcaro Park is a beautiful Denver neighborhood created in the 1940’s that is distinguished by its park-like setting. Cory-Merrill

For the peaceful feel of a residential block and all the convenient perks of urban living, Cory-Merrill, just south of Bonnie Brae, is a perfect choice. Positioned between Mississippi Ave., I-25, University and Colorado, this neighborhood is full of large lots with original Tudors, bungalows and small ranch style homes.

Denver University

The neighborhood surrounding the University of the University of Denver Its residents enjoy all the advantages of the adjacent campus from performances at the Newman Center and sporting events at Magness Arena, to the state of the art Coors Fitness Center. Due east of the Denver University campus, the neighborhood is highly residential with great access to I-25 and two light rail stations. Along Colorado and University Boulevard you’ll find movie theaters, organic markets, and restaurants. The DU campus provides opportunities for performances at the Newman Center and tremendous college sports venues.

Platt Park

Part of the original Town of South Denver, shady streets are lined with Victorians, Denver Squares, and bungalows as well as new duplexes, row homes and some condos. Old South Pearl Street is the charming neighborhood business district where residents stroll to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, shops and a farmers market on summer Sundays. The University of Denver is a five minute minutes to the east. Access via I-25 and light rail makes getting to downtown and the Denver Tech Center easy.

Rosedale

Rosedale surrounds the 57 acre Harvard Gulch Park with its par 3 nine hole golf course, recreation center, outdoor pool, playgrounds, sports fields, community gardens and walking trails with phenomenal views. Adjacent to Harvard Gulch Park is the campus of Porter Adventist Hospital.

Homes in the area consist of some early 1900’s Victorians, 1920’s bungalows, 40’s Tudors, 50’s ranches and new construction. The area is mostly single family with some duplexes and multi-family mixed in. The area enjoys fabulous access to restaurants, shopping and services on its Broadway border and on Old South Pearl Street just blocks away. To the east is the University of Denver with its performing arts and athletic events.

Washington Park

Washington Park itself has two lakes, two formal flower gardens, tree-lined paths and seemingly endless expanses of green grass. It’s a fitness mecca for Denverites, and on any given day you’re likely to spot people walking their dogs, running, biking, paddle boating or doing yoga. Visit Old South Gaylord where you can experience local restaurants, galleries and shops. Year-round Washington Park is filled with runners, bike riders, walkers and many, many more. The historic boathouse, picnic areas and gardens can be reserved for private events. The neighborhood surrounding the park is divided into two parts, East Wash Park and West Wash Park.
